The Story of Our Logo
The marks for Turtle Dove Farm began in the body. We painted them all by hand. Inspired by the Enso, a symbol of wholeness that honors imperfection, we created a mark that holds space.
The beauty is not in getting it right, but in the act of making.
The circle represents gathering. Community around shared tables, food prepared with care, stories exchanged, moments that root themselves in memory. It is an open form, meant to hold many voices at once.
At the center sits a single point. The first footprint. The first spark of an idea. The individual who chooses to begin and brings their own presence to the whole. Everything here starts with that moment of intention.
Below the circle rests an open book. A reminder that this place is a living story, written in real time, where writers and creatives come to listen, reflect, and add their own pages.
Together, these elements map the farm itself. The Enso and central point stand as the mark of The Abbey, a place of gathering and intention. The open book is The Poet’s Cabin, devoted to reflection and creation. When joined, they form the full mark of Turtle Dove Farm, distinct spaces bound into one living whole.
